The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has confirmed that preparations are ongoing for the release of shortlisted candidates for the next phase of its 2026 recruitment exercise.

According to an official update, the Board is currently working on its recruitment portal ahead of the publication of names of candidates who will proceed to physical screening and documentation. This stage follows the completion of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted earlier in the recruitment process.

Candidates who successfully participated in the CBT are advised to begin preparations, as the screening stage represents the final phase before possible enlistment into the respective services.

The upcoming shortlisting phase will involve several mandatory assessments, including:

  • Physical Screening: Evaluation of candidates’ physical fitness and attributes

  • Document Verification: Confirmation of original certificates and submitted credentials

The Board stated that only candidates who meet all requirements will be allowed to proceed.
